Rental Conditions

The client rents TERRAL BIKE RENTAL & TOURS equipment subject to all the terms and conditions of this contract:

1. METHOD OF PAYMENT: In cash or Credit card accepted upon delivery of the material and for the total time of the rental agreement.

2. ONLINE RESERVATIONS: To make the reservation online, you can send us the information through the form on our website, or make it through the email info@terralbike.com
For this we need contact and delivery data.

3. CANCELLATION OF SERVICE CONTRACT: You can cancel the service contract at any time.

4. DEPOSIT: At the time of the delivery of the cycling material, the customer will be required a credit card, an identity document (passport or National Identity Card in the case of European citizens), deposit required for each model. Once the rental is finished, all the material will be checked. We will check that the state in which it is received is good and without any damage. Then the deposit amount will be refunded to the same credit card.

5. SIGNATURE: Who signs the rental contract must be over 18 years of age and will be responsible for the equipment rented.

6. ADVANCE DELIVERIES: No refund will be made for delivery of material before the end of the hired rental time.

7. USE OF RENTED EQUIPMENT: Rental equipment can only be used by the clients designated in the rental agreement. The customer is obliged to take good care and to take all necessary precautions to protect the rented equipment from damage, loss or theft.

Should any of the mentioned situations occur during the rental period, the client will assume immediately all the replacement costs incurred at market prices.
At the end of the rental period a representative of TERRAL BIKE RENTAL & TOURS will assess in each case the losses or damages caused.
The customer is obliged at all times to correctly insure the equipment and other material when it is not in view (put a padlock on the frame, saddle and wheels and tie the bicycle to a post fixed to the ground or bike-parking).

It is recommended in any case to keep the equipment with you as long as possible.
The use of rented equipment in competitions is strictly forbidden.

8. RETURN OF THE EQUIPMENT: The client will return the rented material along with all its accessories in the place, date and time stipulated previously.
Any alteration must be previously authorized by the landlord. The breach of this condition, empowers the landlord to judicially request the return of the material.

 

9. CIVIL LIABILITY AND LIMITATIONS: Liability insurance is included in the rental price of the equipment.
Its purpose is to cover the payment of compensation for bodily, material or patrimonial damages caused to third parties that may be the fault of the insured or of the persons from whom he must respond, due to facts derived from his private life?

The client is responsible for being insured with adequate coverage against risks that may arise during the rental period.

- IF I DAMAGE TO PUBLIC OR PRIVATE STRUCTURES? YES
- IF I ARE STEALED BY THE BIKE OR ITS ACCESSORIES IN THE STREET? NO
- IF I ARE STEALED FROM THE BIKE OR ITS ACCESSORIES AT THE HOTEL? NO


10. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE LESSOR: The company declares to have taken the necessary precautions to avoid mechanical failures in the rented equipment. In case there is a mechanical failure due to liability of the company, it will be tried as much as possible to change the bicycle by the same or similar model. If this possibility does not exist, the customer will be paid the remaining days of the contract.

11. DURATION RENT: The rental periods are for days and it is understood from 08:00 to 20:00. Any period of time that does not enter within this time slot will be understood as another day.

12. Tours: The contracted tours include in the price: bicycle, third party liability insurance and accident insurance. The name of the person and the contracted tour will be reflected in the contract. Any modification of the route that is reflected in our website will be notified to the client.



13. It is the responsibility of the client and his / her companion (s) to respect Spanish traffic regulations.
